GENERAL WEDDING INFORMATION
Situated within sight of Mount Snow, in the town of West Dover Vermont, on the edge of the Green Mountain national forest, The Four Seasons Inn is only two and a half hours from Boston and four hours from Manhattan.
The local area is typically “Vermont” quiet country roads will take you past majestic mountain scenery, sparkling brooks, rivers, and farms on your way to pretty unspoilt villages and covered bridges.
Beautifully renovated, our 17 room Inn offers four acres of gardens bordered by the Deerfield river, with a selection of choices of positions for wedding tents.
Our wedding co-ordinator will help you through the details to make sure your wedding weekend with us is a perfect and cherished memory for you and your guests.
To reserve your wedding weekend, we require a $1000 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit.
You may pay this deposit by check, or, if you prefer to pay by credit card a processing fee of 3.5% will be added.
ROOM RENTAL.
You will be required to rent all 17 rooms at the Inn for two nights. Room rate are all based on double occupancy and include full breakfast for all house guests.
Our Honeymoon Suite can be decorated to your taste.
We can accommodate up to 200 guests for the reception which would be tented.
We can provide a buffet breakfast on Sunday morning to include guests staying at other Inns in the area at a cost of $15.95 per head.

TAXES AND GRATUITY.
Vermont State Tax applies where appropriate and will be added as follows: - 10% meals tax, 10% rooms tax, 11% alcohol tax. In addition a gratuity of 18% will be added to the final bill.
FUNCTION HOURS.
Our wedding facility fee is $750, based on the function lasting five hours, after five hours a $200 per hour charge will be added. All functions are to finish at midnight or before.
CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT
Our check in time for guests is 3pm and check out time is 11 am. Guests not staying at the Four Seasons Inn will be welcomed at the inn 1 hour before the wedding ceremony.
ALCOHOL
Vermont law states that all alcohol consumed at the Inn must be purchased from the Inn. Similarly, all alcohol served at the Inn must be purchased from a Vermont State approved supplier. We can supply you with a list of wines and beers available for purchase.
Please note: We are not allowed by law to serve any alcohol purchase from out of state.
A champagne toast is available from $3.50 per guest, Punch at $2.50 per guest. coffee and Tea to be served all day $2.50 per guest
We reserve the right to refuse to serve alcohol to any guest if we feel it necessary, and strongly recommend the use of local cab companies to ensure the safe return of your guests who may be staying at other local accommodations.
All bar and wait staff services finish at midnight.
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES.
Our wedding co-ordinator will be happy to suggest a choice of local suppliers for Justices of the peace, Floristry, Photography, Music, Carriage Hire, Entertainment etc. Should you have your own suppliers for these services, they will be welcomed by the Inn.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
Marriage requirements in the state of Vermont are that you be a man and woman over the age of 18. No blood tests are required ad there is no waiting period. If either of you have been married before you will need proof of annulment / divorce or if appropriate, a copy of the death certificate.
You will need to call our local town Clerks office 802 464 5100 and supply the following:-
Names and addresses of both parties, basic eduction information, birthplaces and birthdates, parents names, parents birthplaces.
The West Dover and Wilmington areas have churches which cover a number of denominations, we can supply you with the necessary contact information. West Dover congregational church is within horse and carriage distance.
CANCELLATION.
In the unlikely event of cancellation, your responsibility is for room rental for two nights, plus any costs that may have been incurred on your behalf.
